As Your Local Breakfast Place: We Know Our Eggs

When it comes to local breakfast, few ingredients are as iconic as eggs. They’re the perfect addition to morning protein because they’re light on the stomach and delicious in every way. How do you like yours?

At The English Muffin, we serve breakfast the way you like it. Whether you’re craving a hearty skillet, a fluffy omelet, or a classic Eggs Benedict, we’ll make sure your meal is cooked just the way you want it. After all, our motto says it best: You want it, we’ll make it!

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs!

There are countless ways to enjoy eggs, and each style brings something different to the table.

Love light, fluffy eggs? Try including a splash of milk before whisking. Pour the mixture into a hot pan and gently stir as the eggs cook for soft, creamy scrambled eggs every time.

How about our traditional omelet that’s made with two or three eggs? As the eggs begin to set, we gently pull the cooked edges toward the center, allowing the uncooked egg to fill the pan. Then we add your favorite cheese, vegetables, or meats, fold it over, and serve!

Sunny-side-up eggs are cooked on only one side, leaving the yolk perfectly runny. They’re simple, flavorful, and perfect for dipping toast.

Then there’s our breakfast favorite: Eggs Benedict. This features two perfectly poached eggs served with your choice of home fries, hash browns, or tater tots. Poaching gently cooks the egg in simmering water, creating a tender white and rich, silky yolk.

Egg Whites vs. Whole Eggs: What’s the Difference?

At The English Muffin, you can choose between fresh whole eggs or egg whites, depending on your preferences and nutritional goals.

Egg whites are the clear, protein-rich portion of the egg. They contain mostly water, about 3.5–4 grams of protein per egg, virtually no fat, and almost no cholesterol.

Whole eggs include both the white and the nutrient-rich yolk. The yolk provides healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and approximately 70 calories with about 5 grams of fat per egg.

Neither option is necessarily better, they simply serve different dietary or fitness needs.

  • Choose whole eggs if you’re looking for balanced nutrition and a breakfast that will help keep you feeling full.
  • Choose egg whites if you’re watching calories or fat while still getting a boost of lean protein.
